Our Bosh washer had been giving us trouble for quite a while and about a year ago we decided it was time for a change. We looked up reviews on various sites and this Maytag was one of the best. Making it even better, we saw a sale advertised by a local retailer. We made the purchase, had it delivered, and started washing clothes. We have been very happy with the performance of the new washer. SHould we need another washer or dryer, we are now loyal to Maytag.

I love this washer! What used to be 6 loads a week, is down to 3! Saving money on water, electricity, and laundry products! I laugh when I tell friends how excited I am with my new appliances! My only issue is that the door isn't interchangeable. I had to buy longer connectors, etc., because it reverses my water and electric hook ups.

Our washer was delivered on Nov 1. I do not like the loud noise that it makes in the final spin cycle. It is a very loud noise caused by vibration. It seems to me that this would not be part of the way the washing machine should properly function. Is this a defect of the machine or is it an issue with the installation or is it both?

I bought this to replace the machine that I had previously - the front load is much better in terms of the drum.The top loads do not clean as well Just have to watch how much you put in the machine - even though it says to load garment - if it is too full it leaks wish it was a tab bigger - seems a little smaller than the top load overall a good machine and cleans the clothes well !!

I wish I still had my 16 year old Maytag washer and pedestal. My new one shimmies across the floor when the clothes or towels are the slightest bit off center on spin mode. The service technician said the pedestal is too flimsy to support the washer and the only suggestion was to bolt it to the floor. I NEVER had that problem with my old washer and pedestal. The plastic soap dispenser isn't as sturdy either.
